Industrial Services Superintendent

The industrial services superintendent is responsible for overseeing a team of mower, tractor, and chemical operators and any relevant production associated with those teams, safety compliance, and routine, daily communication with industrial plant management.

To be successful in this role, you must:

· Strict adherence to all (Mullin and Client) safety initiatives and standards.

· Working and applied knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

· Drives maintenance service schedule to meet or exceed labor hour efficiency goals.

· Communicates daily progress with senior Mullin management and weekly progress to Valero plant management.

· Assists with LEAN initiatives to improve efficiency through job plan feedback and revision.

· Execution and record keeping of daily JSAs, tailgate talks, and work permits.

· Supervises and coordinates all work performed.

· Communicates frequently with plant management, adhering to our “White Glove” process, providing excellent service and a positive experience in the process.

· Accommodates client needs and expectations as they arise, within the scope of work.

· Manages inventory of chemicals and other consumables for daily use.

· Coordinates with Fleet and Facilities Manager for all equipment maintenance needs.

· Facilitates a positive culture in the workplace by driving Mullin core values and culture initiatives.

· Communicating team headcount needs to Human Resources in a proactive, timely manner.

Qualifications

· Knowledge of OSHA, DISA, and Plant-Specific Safety Protocols required.

· Ability to interpret project specifications and scope of work documentation.

· Knowledge of Aspire (or comparable CRM) a plus.

· Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Outlook, Excel) and basic pdf editing software (Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, etc.) experience preferred.

· Must be able to multitask and prioritize.

· A valid Driver’s License

· An associate degree will be considered, along with relevant experience

· Two to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm

· Superb communication skills; knowledge of Spanish a plus
