This estate borders downtown Covington and needed a formal garden area to connect the existing pool to the house. The new master plan called for a perimeter Japanese Yew hedge, boxwood parterres, and a formal lawn area to create axis that visually connect the surrounding spaces. Large masses of hydrangea shrubs provide a beautiful show in the summertime, and decorative gravel pathways and seating areas offer a way to move through the site and view the garden area from different angles.
